I may be Jumping the Gun but, lets start posting the summer movies we are looking forward to and their release dates
First = Harry Potter and the order of the Phenoix/ July 13th

Spiderman 3 is the one I'm looking forward to the most, this looks to be the most intense sequel ever.

1: Transformers
2: Harry Potter
3: Spider-Man 3.
Thats all I can think of and now of right now. And yes I know I'm kind of freaky for wanting to see Transformers but I grew up with the cartoon.

The biggies for me are Spiderman 3, Harry Potter, and Fantastic Four. I know there are others, but that is off the top of my head.

Just go to (removed) It is basically for finding release dates for DVDs, but it also has links at the bottom of the page for theatrical release. You can either look them up by month, or search for specific movies. Very handy link to have and a very informative web site.

I must confess. The only film next year I'm truly waiting on is Spiderman 3. Though there are going to be far too many villians and one of them being Venom, I'm still of the impression it will be the only one to see.

I don't think will see Venom, we might get a glimpse of him at the end of the film, it will be better to save him for Spiderman 4. From looking at the trailers this is mostly going to be about the "Black Suit" saga that are in the comic books.

Well, I know it's the "Black Suit". But you know everyone is calling it "Venom" even though we know it wasn't called that until Eddie Brock took it on. I still have a problem with it being in the film. I liked it when Spidey did one villian at a time. When I heard there were going to be multi-villians, my first thought was... "Oh Lord! They're going down that bad road that the Batman films did back in the 80's and 90's. I just don't want to see more than one villian in a film.
I thought it would be a good story all by itself with just Sandman. But the people who make it apparently don't think so. To me, Venom (or even the Black Suit story) shouldn't have come along so soon. There are plenty of other villians Spidey had that had great stories. I would like to see Scorpian in a battle with him.

Thats one of the Prime movies I want to see.

Director Sam Raimi has done a good job with the last two movies, so I think he can handle the multiple villains approach. This will be Sam's last sequel, unless the studio offers him more money, I doubt he'll take it. It seems Venom is the most popular character among the young people, it was inevitable he would appear in the films. The Vulture, or the Lizard would be my next pick for Spiderman 4.
